What better way to kick off the Tennessee State Fair than an all-Tennessee beer festival!
On Friday, September 6, the Tennessee State Fair and Rhizome Productions will host the inaugural Taste of Tennessee Craft Brewers Festival in the infield of the State Fairgrounds Speedway. Unlike other beer fests, this one will only feature breweries from the great state of Tennessee. That’s right, no breweries from other states. About 20 TN breweries will be pouring over 50 TN-brewed beers.
The event starts at 7pm, 6 if you have a VIP ticket, and ends at 11pm. In addition to great TN beer will be several local food trucks serving tasty treats.
Rhizome Productions always puts on the best beer fests so you won’t want to miss this one! Proceeds benefit the Tennessee Craft Brewers Guild. Last year the Brewers Guild led the charge to fix the TN beer tax. The guild’s mission is to promote and protect craft brewers in Tennessee. Who can’t support that?
