The Tennessee Beer Run

Tomorrow is a big day for Craft Beer in Tennessee, the launch of the Tennessee Beer Run. Their website summarized the trip succinctly: 1,400 miles, 76 breweries, 21 days, 1 mini-bus.

Zack Roskop, Matt Malone, and Jessica Warblow will trek across the great state of Tennessee enjoying beers from its 77 breweries. I first heard of the tour in December when I met Zack in the taproom of Last Days Of Autumn Brewing in Knoxville. What I great idea! June and I set a goal to visit every brewery in the state in 2017, but we can’t imagine doing it in three weeks! That’s going to be insane, and a blast. It’s going to be hard enough to get it done in 365 days, doing it in 21 is super-human. Our hats our off to Zack, Matt & Jessica.

The trip is sponsored by Grayson Subaru, Tennessee Craft Beer Magazine, and Kroger Fuel. Kroger is providing the fuel for the mini-bus. How cool is that? You’ll be able to read all about the trip in Tennesse Craft Beer Magazine, look for it in an upcoming issue.¬†Here’s the rough schedule of the tour.
